Troubleshooting

An integration action is unavailable

When a hosting action cannot be used, GitTree says why instead of failing silently. The usual reasons are: it is part of GitTree Pro; no account is connected for the remote’s host; the token needs reconnecting; your role on the provider does not allow it; the provider does not offer it; or the provider is limiting requests for a while.

FreeUpdated

Works in GitTree Free: every local Git feature, once you are signed in.

Before you start

  • Point at the greyed-out control, or read the message beside it.

Where to find it

  • The reason shown on the control; Feature Guide › Integrations for the whole picture.

Steps

  1. Read the reason

Point at the control or read the line beside it, such as Pull requests, issues and CI/CD runs are part of GitTree Pro. or Reconnect … to see CI/CD runs….

  2. Fix the account

Connect an account for the host, or press Reconnect if it Needs reconnecting. A token may need more scopes: Scopes the token needs lists them.

  3. Check what the provider offers

Open Feature Guide › Integrations: Not offered by … means no setting can turn it on here.

Expected result

You know whether to connect, reconnect, ask for a role, wait, or use the provider’s page.

If something goes wrong

“This account may not read logs here.” or “… refused this account.”

Your role or token on the provider lacks that right. Ask a repository admin, or create a token with the listed scopes.

“The provider limits requests until …”

Wait until that time; GitTree asks again by itself.
