Ask Nour about your work
Nour always knows the repository and checked-out branch of the chat. Type @ to mention a file, folder, branch, commit or pull request, attach a file, or tell Nour about other branches. The chips above the message box show What Nour is told; the scope picker decides which repositories the chat covers.
Needs GitTree Pro or a running trial; Free keeps every local Git feature. Compare the plans.

The chips show What Nour is told; remove one with its ×. Press Send, or Send after this reply while Nour is still answering.
Follow the answer
Links in the answer open files, or show a commit or branch in the graph.
Expected result
Nour answers about exactly the files, branches and commits you pointed at.
Which repositories a chat covers
- By default, the repository of the tab you are in.
- Several repositories…: pick 2 to 30 open repositories; each is snapshotted before every turn.
- App only (no repository files) for questions about GitTree itself; Whole app (every repository)… asks you to confirm first.
If something goes wrong
“This repository is in restricted mode, so Nour does not run an agent in it.”
Trust the repository first (Repository trust), or ask about the app only.
Questions
Does Nour read my whole repository?
The agent can read files in the repositories the chat covers, as it would in a terminal there. Ask mode keeps it from changing anything through GitTree.
