The app

Git Tree is free to download and use. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. You remain responsible for your repositories; keep backups of work you care about.

Your account

Your account is created by signing in with GitHub, so GitHub’s terms apply to that sign-in as well. Keep your GitHub account secure: whoever controls it controls your Git Tree account.

Organizations and invitations

When you create an organization you become its owner. Owners and admins decide who joins and with which role, and can invite people by GitHub username, email address or a shareable link.

Anyone who has an invite link can use it until it expires, is revoked or runs out of uses, so share links only with people you trust. Invite by email only people who expect to hear from you.

Acceptable use

Do not use Git Tree accounts to send spam, to harass anyone, to break the law, or to probe, overload or attack the service. Accounts that do may be suspended.

Changes

Git Tree is in active development, so features may change or be retired. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. When these terms change, the date above changes with them.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the author of Git Tree is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the app or the account service.
