Connect Bitbucket Cloud
GitTree connects to Bitbucket Cloud (bitbucket.org) three ways: sign in with your Bitbucket account in the browser, use an Atlassian API token with the account’s email, or use a workspace, project or repository access token. Tokens are kept only in your system’s keychain.
Needs GitTree Pro or a running trial; Free keeps every local Git feature. Compare the plans.

Steps
Start connecting
Choose Connect Bitbucket….
Sign in with the browser
Choose Sign In with Bitbucket, sign in if asked, and select Grant access. Let the browser open GitTree again; the window finishes by itself.
Or use a token
For an Atlassian API token, fill Atlassian account email and choose Enter the API Token…. For a workspace, project or repository token, choose Enter an Access Token….
Check the account
The account card shows your login and how it connected, such as signed in with the browser or API token.
Expected result
Bitbucket pull requests, pipelines and repositories appear in GitTree.
If something goes wrong
The browser did not come back to GitTree
Open The browser did not come back to GitTree?, copy the whole address starting with opengittree:// from the browser’s address bar, paste it and press Finish Signing In.
“Enter the email the API token belongs to first.”
An Atlassian API token works only with the email of the account that created it.
Questions
Do Bitbucket app passwords still work?
Use an Atlassian API token or an access token instead; those are the token kinds GitTree asks for.
