Check for and install updates
Check for Updates… asks whether a newer GitTree exists. On macOS and Windows the update bar downloads it, checks the download, and says Restart to install it; GitTree waits for any running Git operation before it closes. On Linux, install the new version from the Linux download page. What’s New… shows the release notes.
Works in GitTree Free: every local Git feature, once you are signed in.
