Read jobs and logs
Open a run and select a job or step to read its log in the Log tab. Jump to first error goes straight to the failure, Search the log… finds text, Timestamps and Wrap change the view, Following keeps a running job’s live output in view, and Save Log… writes it to a file.
Needs GitTree Pro or a running trial; Free keeps every local Git feature. Compare the plans.

Steps
Select the job
In the run, select a job or a step in the tree. Its log opens in Log; a step without its own log shows Show Job Log.
Go to the error
Press Jump to first error, then Next error and Previous error. Errors and warnings are marked in the margin.
Search and adjust
Use Search the log… with Next match; turn on Timestamps or Wrap; collapse groups you do not need.
Follow or save
For a running job, Following keeps the newest lines in view. When it ends, Save Log… writes the log to a file.
Expected result
You found the failing line and, if needed, saved the log.
If something goes wrong
“This log has expired on …”
The provider deletes logs after its retention period. Re-run the job to get a new one.
“… has no log for this job.”
A job that never started has no log. The Summary tab shows why it failed.
Questions
Is a very large log shown in full?
GitTree shows the first lines of a log larger than it can show and says so; open it on the provider to read the rest.
