Account troubleshooting

Paid features are unavailable

Pro belongs to an account, or comes from an organization seat. If Pro features are missing, check you are signed in with the account that has it, that the trial or period has not ended or been refunded, and, in the desktop app, that it could check your access recently. Free local Git keeps working meanwhile.

WebsiteUpdated

Done on gittree.app with your GitTree account, the same one you sign in to the app with.

Before you start

  • You expected Pro on this account.

Where to find it

  • Dashboard › Subscription › Your access; the desktop app’s account menu.

Steps

  1. Check the account

On the website and in the app, check you are signed in with the same account.

  2. Check your access

Your access says Pro until …, Pro through … until …, or Free, with Where your Pro comes from. An ended period or a refunded payment ends Pro.

  3. Let the app check again

Connect to the internet and restart the app, or sign out and in. When the app cannot verify access, Pro returns once it can.

Expected result

Pro is back, or you know why it ended and what to do.

If something goes wrong

You are in an organization but have no Pro

The organization’s period may have ended, or you may not have a seat. Ask an owner or admin.

Questions

Does losing Pro affect my repositories?

No. Every local Git feature keeps working on Free.
