An invitation cannot be accepted
An invitation works only for the right account and only while it is valid. GitTree says which rule stopped it: the link is not valid or incomplete; it has expired, was revoked or has been used up; you are already a member; or the organization has no free seat or no running period.
Done on gittree.app with your GitTree account, the same one you sign in to the app with.

Steps
Check the account
For an email invitation, sign in with the account that has that verified address; for a GitHub username, with that GitHub account.
Check the link
Copy the whole link again. If it is not valid, expired, revoked or used up, ask for a new one.
Ask the organization
If seats are full or the organization has no running period, an owner or admin must add a seat or start its period.
Expected result
You join, or you know exactly what the organization must do.
If something goes wrong
“You are already a member of this organization.”
Open it from Dashboard › Organizations.
Questions
Should I forward my invite link to a colleague?
Only a link meant for sharing: personal invitations work for one account, and anyone with an invite link can join until it expires or runs out.
