Before you start

  • You are signed in on the website.

Where to find it

  • Dashboard › Account settings.

Steps

  1. Set the account type

Under Account type, choose Individual or Organization. GitTree says Account type updated. Switching from organization to individual keeps your memberships.

  2. Review your devices

Your devices lists the latest desktop devices linked to your account, with Device ID, Last seen and Device details.

  3. End sessions if needed

Under Session, Sign out everywhere… ends your session on every device (Sign out).

Expected result

Your account type is right and you know which devices use your account.

If something goes wrong

“No desktop device references are available yet.”

Sign in to the desktop app with this account; its device appears afterwards.

Questions

Why does GitTree keep device references?

They help recognize your devices and prevent the free trial being started again on the same device.
