Create an organization

An organization brings your team together: you become its owner and can invite people right away. Creating organizations comes with GitTree Pro or a running trial. Give it an Organization name (2 to 64 characters) and a unique Short name of lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.

ProUpdated

Needs GitTree Pro or a running trial; Free keeps every local Git feature. Compare the plans.

Steps

  1. Open New organization

  2. Name it

Type the Organization name, such as “Acme Tools”, and a Short name. GitTree checks the short name is free.

The organization has no free trial of its own. Choose Redeem or subscribe to start a period before inviting members.

“That short name is already taken.” or “… reserved.”

Pick another short name.
