Manage members and roles
Members lists everyone in the organization with their Role and when they Joined. Owners and admins can change a role with Role of … and Remove a member; removed people lose access and can be invited again later. Removing someone frees their seat.

Steps
Open Members
Open the organization and choose Members. You are marked You.
Change a role
Pick the new role in Role of …. GitTree says Role updated.
Remove someone
Press Remove and confirm Remove …?. They lose access to the organization.
Expected result
Each member has the role they need, and people who left the team no longer have access.
If something goes wrong
“Your role does not allow this.”
Admins cannot change owners or make someone an owner. Ask an owner.
Questions
Does removing a member delete their GitTree account?
No. They keep their account and can be invited again.
